The FIPV in Castilian Leon lands.

Oct 14, 2021

Íscar and Vallelado maintain a long relationship with the Ball, and specifically with the tool, great players, world champions, delight fans many weekends a year in their fantastic facilities adapted to the new times.

This land wants to continue making history by receiving the first U-23 after the hardest moments of the pandemic that in 2020 forced us to stop the scheduled competition cycle. From October 17 to 23, the future of baseball represented by young people from eight countries to whom I want to wish that their goals and dreams are fulfilled in these intense days of competition.

Our Federation wants, from an integrative vocation, to be an open Federation that responds to the needs of each affiliate and that generates synergies that allow us to take advantage of all the human, sporting and social potential of Basque pelota.

I hope that the participating teams give us a magnificent and sporting spectacle where “Fair play” and cordiality shine on the field. Off the field, we know that the residents of Íscar and Vallealdo, and the neighboring areas in situ at the frontons, and through the complete streaming coverage, will enjoy and vibrate during this week of the international competition.

I thank the Spanish Pelota Federation and first of all its President Julián García and his team for all the work done that makes the celebration of this competition possible. I extend my gratitude to the Pelota Federation of Castilla y León, the Mayor's Office of Íscar and that of Vallelado, to the rest of the institutions involved, to the sponsors and to all the benevolent people who joined their efforts in the service of our sport.

Fdo. Xavier Cazaubon President of the FIPV
