From the trip that the President of the FIPV has made to China we receive very pleasant news. On the 4th, President Cazaubon met at a working lunch in Shanghai with the President of the Chinese Pelota Federation, in order to review the actions that had been carried out after the visit to Shanghai by JM Idiart and Philippe Lafitte in the year 2018 and the implementation of Frontball in a select group of schools in Shangha, Nanjing and Guan Dong to reach 1,000 schools and 150,000 practitioners according to the work plan. The pandemic has slowed down its development implementation, so it was agreed to draw up a new work plan and Business Plan in order to reactivate the initial project. Today the Chinese population is eager to open up to new sports. The objective is to penetrate the private educational sector: 500,000 schools; 200 million students or 200 million families (a logical figure with the national one-child policy until recently) and a potential market of 500 million people. The FIPV, immersed in a digital development project, is developing an On-Line course to train technicians and referees, in order to be able to implement the integral project of existing Frontball and that has already been executed in other countries, in the aforementioned Country. The task will be arduous, but it is worth the effort so that the FIPV can carry out online training at the beginning of the year 2021, since it is intended to train at least 1,300 teachers per month (minimum to reach a training of 4,000 teachers per term and a maximum of 5,000 with a total of 20,000 trained in 2021) all Primary school teachers; colleges; high schools. Those 20,000 teachers will have an impact on 300,000 young people who will enter the practice of Frontball in the first year, estimating that by the year 2022 the number of practitioners can triple. To start up the aforementioned project, the existing gymnasiums, classrooms, etc., will be adapted, to later move on to a specific construction phase of facilities for the practice of Frontball, both for leisure and recreation and/or competition.
