La Federación Internacional de Pelota Vasca convoca a todas sus Afiliadas a la próxima reunión de su Asamble el 28 de diciembre de 2024 en Pamplona.

54-metre Fronton. Men.
The most spectacular and universal speciality. The pelota reaches speeds of up to 300 km/h. It is played using an instrument that consists of chestnut and wicker, with a glove for the hand.
Made of chestnut, tightly woven wicker, grooved and cured, with a pocket for holding the pelota, it is composed of a grip, ribs, hoops and point. The glove is made of leather or similar material. Baskets made of plastic can also be used, as long as they are made technically the same as wicker ones.

Trinquete. Men.
A wooden paddle and leather pelota are used (the smallest pelota of those used in specialities with a leather pelota). It is very attractive and spectacular due to the speed of the game.
Preferably made of beech wood or another noble wood, it does not have to be from a single piece. They all have to be made of wood, with the following characteristics:

30-metre Fronton.Men and Women.
Imported from Mexico, where it is considered the national sport. A reinforced tennis racket and a rubber pelota are used.
They will be similar or the same as those used in the sport of tennis, made of wood, fibre, metal or graphite. The weight and tension of the cords are not limited. Double cords can be used, and there likewise is no limit on the length and width.

After receiving an official statement fromthe Spanish Federation of Pelota authorisingthe GRAVNI championship, this International Federation, therefore, has authorised the tournament.We would also like to mention the diligence shown by both the Spanish and French federations in every step of the administrative procedure.

Habiendo recibido comunicado oficial de la Federación Española de Pelota, autorizando de forma la celebración del campeonato GRAVNI, esta Federación Internacional autoriza como consecuencia de la misma, la celebración del campeonato.
Queremos, asimismo, hacer constar el diligente proceder de las Federaciones Española y Francesa en todos y cada uno de los momentos administrativos de este proceso.

Productivo día de trabajo en La Habana junto al Comisionado y Presidente de la Federación Cubana Lázaro Mendoza, de Paolo Hernández Presidente de la Confederación Centroamericana y del Caribe de Pelota, de Julián García Angulo Vice Presidente 1º de la FIPV, Baldomero Peralta Tesorero de la FIPV y Fabián Quesada Director General de la FIPV, en el que se aprovechó para tratar el futuro de la pelota en Cuba y su dimensión regional en la área caribeña y centroamericana.
Se visitaron las instalaciones del Complejo Comandante Díaz Argüelles, el Frontón Ponce Carrasco conocido como el Palacio de los Gritos y el Habana Madrid.
A la conferencia de prensa se convocó a los medios de TV, radio y prensa escrita de Cuba, además de la participación en un programa especial de 30' en la emisión de deportes mas vista en Cuba :"La Jugada Perfecta". Se aprovechó este marco para la presentación a nivel mundial de la campaña “Yo pelotari”.
Mañana la Delegación de la FIPV será recibida por las máximas autoridades del Deporte Cubano, a las que se les expondrán propuestas concretas, entre las que es obligado la rehabilitación urgente de las infraestructuras, para que nuestro deporte obtenga un nuevo impulso. La FIPV informara de las propuestas hechas al INDER y del papel de Cuba como elemento de consolidación y desarrollo de la pelota en el Caribe.
