Frontball

Creado en 2008, el Frontball es una disciplina deportiva nueva dinámica y moderna; punto de intersección de diferentes juegos de pelota a mano practicadas a través del mundo. Desde abril de 2015 , el frontball es una nueva disciplina de la FIPV que tiene como objetivo organizar competiciones internacionales tanto a nivel masculino como femenino.

How is Frontball

Frontball stands out for its accessibility and universality, as a tool for social cohesion and transformation, and the social prevention of violence and crime; it also has intrinsic characteristics that make it ideal for penetrating society and the school environment.
EDUCATIONAL
The practice of this sport provides important physical, psychological and social benefits, participating in the integral formation of the human being.
ACCESSIBLE
Very cheap infrastructure and equipment. A front wall, flat ground, chalk and a ball... we can now play Frontball!

Any wall is a potential play area.

Promotion plan

We have developed a sports and social project to promote Frontball in school and community environments. This ambitious plan includes actions aimed at encouraging the participation of young people in this modality, with the objective of integrating them into schools and sports clubs. We create characters, mascots, a website and a promotional video to increase the visibility of the sport.

In addition, we are excited about the recent release of the video game Frontball Planet, an initiative that brings the excitement of the sport to a new generation of players.

Structuring the phases

PROMOTION
Introduction to the educational and social field of primary and secondary teaching units, with videos for their better understanding, and to facilitate the practice of sports for students and/or interested people. Promoting gender equality through sports and physical activity.
FORMATION
Training of teachers, the different interested social agents and the different Pelota groups.
COMPETITION
Competition for minors (Children and Cadets).

Activation plan

Our Frontball activation plan includes leisure on multi-sport courts, versatility with the portable court and promotion of social inclusion in urban spaces.
Leisure and recreation
Implementation on multi-sports fields, a meeting point for street sports. Minimum investment, easy construction, adaptability to the available space.
Portable court
Simple portable structure that allows it to be inserted into any type of event or space.
Urban culture
Adaptation of urban spaces without a specific function. Capacity to combat crime, drug addiction and the social inclusion of displaced people.

Nueva incorporación, Zambia

Zambia se acaba de incorporar a la FIPV buscando trabajar en el desarrollo del Frontball.

Zambia, con una población estable de más de 20 millones de habitantes, llega a la FIPV.

Desde la FIPV estamos muy entusiasmados con esta nueva incorporación que junto a otros países de su región darán visibilidad a la Pelota.

Confederación Asiática de Pelota Vasca

Con gran alegría desde la FIPV anunciamos la creación de la Confederación Asiática de Pelota Vasca.

En un trabajo en silencio y donde se buscó afianzar la creación de esta nueva Confederación la FIPV está en condiciones de reconocer a esta nueva afiliada la cual junto a las demás confederaciones continentales trabajará en el fomento de nuestro deporte.

Esta vez en un nuevo continente el cual cuenta con una población de más de 4500 millones de habitantes.

La Misión FIPV realizada en India despertó el interés por nuestro deporte en el continente Asiático,, el cual está presto a trabajar mancomunadamente por el desarrollo sostenido  de la pelota.

Asia un gigante en potencia se une a nuestras filas para trabajar en conjunto con la FIPV en el fomento de nuestro deporte.

Frontball Uruguay - Cursos para formadores

Formando Formadores FIPV.

Nos encontramos  muy complacidos en recibir por parte de la FUP su solicitud  de capacitaciones de FRONTBALL en el área metropolitana de Montevideo. Buscando el crecimiento de nuestro deporte, la FUP está realizando acuerdos de colaboración con distintos Institutos Públicos de enseñanzas y formación de profesores de Educación Física.

FIPV-FUP unidas buscando el mismos objetivo, potenciar el deporte de la Pelota Vasca, en este caso en Uruguay, tierra de grandes Campeones Mundiales. Será en el mes de julio cuando una delegación de la FIPV viaje a Montevideo para junto a la FUP trabajar conjuntamente en esta capacitación.
