Release FIPV / AEPSAD / WADA
Pursuant to the agreements signed with the AEPSAD (Spanish Agency of Health Protection in Sport), this International Federation will proceed to unequivocally put into practice the work lines established by the WADA, according to the criteria and standards set forth in the World Anti-doping code. The FIPV respects them and, as established in our Statutes, is vigilant of them. Therefore, it reminds all athletes of the control group that they must update and provide their location every 3 months. They are also reminded that there is a maximum of 3 failed locations. Given that a lack of updates on an important part of the athletes’ update forms has been detected, the athletes are reminded that they are obliged to fill in the forms. If their location is not updated after being requested 3 times, the deemed penalty will be applied.
