Successfulexperience in South Africa
Jean Michel Idiart has just come back from South Africa. This tripfalls within the framework of the FIPV competence with regard to the expansion and development of pelota,given the potential of the African continent. There, he has been in contact with theassociation Children of Dawn for the implementation of Frontball, as due to its qualities this modality appears as the most suitable for that region.
The children who participated in these sessions belong entirely to"townships", where living conditions are extreme. This is why Frontball is presented as an escapeto their daily problems.
Once in the playing field, the children experienced their first taste ofFrontball, and their first impressionshave been positive; they liked the discipline and they enjoyed seeing their playing level increase, despite the short time they have devoted to it.
