The meeting of the FIPV Board of Directors held today, Wednesday, February 16, 2022, with the presence of the FFPB delegation that accompanied President Lilou Echeverria, formed by René Hardoy Secretary General, Stephane Sain-Laurent Head of the Sports Commission, Christophe Jeleznoff Head of the Events Commission, Gerard Rossi Head of the Technical-Pedagogical Commission and Lore Eguzquiza Head of Communication, in order to address essential issues concerning the XIX Absolute World Championship of Basque Pelota Biarritz 2022, had as its point The main event is the presentation of the Competition Organization Agreement, which after the adjustments applied and its submission for the collective knowledge of all parties, has been scheduled for tomorrow, February 17, for its signing by the FFPB and the FIPV.

The other point raised was the composition of the Organizing Committee of the competition, which will be made up of 5 members from the FFPB, and 5 from the FIPV.

On behalf of the FIPV will be President Xavier Cazaubon, Secretary General Julian Garcia, Vice Presidents Claire Bordagaray and Philippe Lafitte, and Director General Jorge Lopez.

Monthly meetings of this committee were also established, whose first contact will be on March 2.
