Spain, qualified for the semifinals of women's racquetball in the World Cup

The Spanish pair, formed by the Murcian defender, Ingrid Ruiz, and the Palencia forward, María Rodríguez, secured first place in their group.

The third day of the 30-meter Frontón World Cup, held in Valencia, left the Spanish women's racquetball team qualified for the semifinals.

The Spanish couple, formed by the Murcian defender, Ingrid Ruiz and the Palencia forward, María Rodríguez , beat their two Argentine rivals by 15-8 and 15-9. They secured first place in their group and a place in the semifinals of the competition.

In the men's Paleta Goma, Spain also leads Group B after beating Guatemala. The Castilian from Leon Alvaro Moreno defeated his rival 15-6 and 15-7. Group A, led by Mexico and followed by France, will determine the semifinal rivals.

In women's Paleta Goma, Spain dominates group B while Mexico leads group A followed by Argentina and France, respectively. Nagore Martin from Alava defeated American Saldumbide 15-5, 15-3.

In men's fronttenis, Spain defeated Cuba in a match in which it did not give the Caribbean country's players any options. Tenerife's Gustavo Vidal and Victor Molina comfortably beat the Cubans 15-2 and 15-4. Group A is led by Mexico while Spain is in second position. In group B, the United States is the candidate to occupy first position.
