On the evening of February 6, the ordinary assemblies of the Uruguayan Pelota Federation were held.

In a meeting with total agreement from all participating sectors, Mr. Juan Ignacio Tristán, a native of the town of Mercedes Uruguay and who was vice president of the mother institution of Pelota in Uruguay, was elected President for a period of 4 years.

From the International Basque Pelota Federation we welcome the new management and thank the outgoing management who has accompanied us from their place all these years.
